Full Engagement

High energy and strong engagement

How do we get on top as regards the important things in life? Where do we find our energy? Time Management and self-discipline are not enough. It is all about Energy Management – in order to be superior in the important areas of our lives, we must understand that where focus goes, energy flows. But how do we increase our energy, and how do we handle stress in the most optimal manner?

On the basis of more than 25 years’ work with business people and athletes, Dr. Jim Loehr and the Human Performance Institute have found that we, as human beings, find and use energy in four dimensions:

  1. Physical energy
  2. Emotional energy
  3. Mental energy
  4. Spiritual energy

Sustainable performance is often considered a question of mental capacity. We regard it as a pyramid. Physical well-being is the foundation. On top of this we find emotional health and mental skills. At the very top are the sense of meaningfulness and the contact with the purpose of life. Sustainable performance and the ability to handle stress in a constructive manner are achieved when all levels work together.

Management is about energy – not about time
Full Engagement is a method according to which people and organisations can get huge inspiration for obtaining more energy by working with e.g. diet and nutrition, physical training, emotional intelligence, mental focus as well as presence and authenticity. The purpose is to create more energy in the most important aspects of life and thereby increase engagement and presence in everything we do. It is about giving your best energy where it is most important.

During the last six years, we, as the only company in Northern Europe, have been working with Full Engagement as the central way of thinking in relation to:

  • The personal leadership within management development, project management development and talent development
  • Work/life balance projects and organisational performance
  • Full Engagement creates a positive effect on management energy, absence due to illness, organisational atmosphere, staff turnover and personal capacity.
