Change Management

Carrying out actual changes

In order for your organisation to deliver the desired products to the customers and live up to the requirements from authorities and suppliers, it is critical that you identify the need for changes fast. It is even more important that you are able to implement the desired changes effectively, fast and with actual changes.

  • How long did it take your last project to be implemented everywhere in the organisation?
  • How often do you ask yourselves: “What would the recipients of this change say? – How much can they handle?”
  • Do you always include in the definition and implementation process the persons most affected by the change?
  • How do you measure the need for change management and whether a change has actually been implemented in the culture?”
  • How much do you focus on the “informal hierarchy” and involvement of “ambassadors” when implementing something new?

In relation to changes caused by IT modifications you must be capable of handling not only large technical implementations but also organisational changes. To us, implementation is a very special focus area, and in this field we can offer strong tools, competences and experience.

You must be capable of handling both technical implementations and organisational changes

Change management
IT changes, of course, are business-driven – they must be profitable! These changes not only require adapted competences as to applying IT as a tool, but they typically change the way we work – our business processes change. Thus, responsibilities and experience bases shift, and power bases change. Change management is a huge challenge that we give special attention.

Implementation
When an IT project approaches its final phase, the project changes focus from production to implementation and anchoring. This happens whether or not the product is a tangible delivery or a strategic recommendation. Regardless of the division of tasks between supplier and customer, the implementation process is important, as this is when the first indicators of the actual match between organisation and system/product can be assessed.
