Professor at the IT University of Copenhagen Søren Lauesen and Implement collaborate on requirement specification and selection of large IT solutions
Implement Consulting Group collaborates with Professor at the IT University of Copenhagen Søren Lauesen on professional development and knowledge sharing within requirement specification and selection on large IT projects.
The collaboration is a natural consequence of Implement being used as a sparring partner in the choice of IT solutions and continuously attempting to further develop our consulting in this field. ”Helping our clients plan and execute IT-supported strategic changes, it is only natural that we also take on the responsibility of ensuring that the newest methods are employed and that we benefit from analyses and experience from other projects. We want, in the best possible way, to support the client’s business objectives which are the reason for them to implement the change”, says Jørgen Østergaard Langebek from Implement.
Through his extensive work within requirement specification and selection of IT solutions, Søren Lauesen has established himself as an international capacity within this field. Among other things, Søren Lauesen is the creator of SL-07, which is close to being a de facto standard for the drawing up of ”the exemplary requirement specification” particularly used in connection with public IT projects.
The collaboration works both ways. Implement develops knowledge and deep professional competences within a field which is often decisive of whether a strategic change project achieves its business objectives, while Søren Lauesen participates in projects in which Implement’s implementation principles and very high degree of client involvement form the basis for further development of methods and basis of experience within user interfaces, user involvement and project agility.
