The prize for the master thesis of the year at HD SCM went to René Grann. Once again, the prize is sponsored by the consultancy Implement Consulting Group and was awarded and motivated by Management Consultant Jacob Bønnelycke.
The thesis entitled ”Lean Supply” treats a highly relevant and central issue concerning the prerequisites for Lean Supply to create continued, comparative advantages for a company’s supply chain. The thesis has a solid and broad theoretical basis and includes four case companies working with the issue.
On the basis of a very well-written and well-founded thesis (including cases and several theoretical perspectives) contributing knowledge in a field with very little literature available, René Grann was awarded DKK 10,000 for the best thesis of the year at HD SCM. The thesis is publicly available at the CBS library at Solbjerg Plads.
